I find anglerfish's mating habits really interesting because the young male actually latches itself onto the female and fuses with her over time. The male then slowly degenerates, losing it's internal organs and eyes except for his testes, which releases sperms in response to the female hormones.

The anglerfish are life-long mates. Aww.. So sweet right? Though they look scary. I wonder why there's such ugly things on earth. No wonder the anglerfish looks so grumpy.
